If you apply online
You pay the fee by entering your payment details in the application. After payment you must sign your application with MitID. If you do not sign your application, the fee will not be withdrawn from your account and your application will be rejected automatically.
You can pay via MobilePay or with the following payment cards:
Dankort, MasterCard, Maestro, VISA or VISA Electron.

If the fee is reserved in your account
As soon as you have entered your payment details in the application, the amount of the fee will be reserved in your bank account. The amount is not withdrawn from the account until you have signed the application.
If you do not sign the application, the amount of the fee is reserved for up to 30 banking days, depending on your bank. However, you can ask for the reservation to be cancelled by writing an email with the full present name and date of birth of the person whose name is to be changed (Please note: Do not write any civil registration number in the email!).

Apply on paper application
If you apply on paper, you must pay by your online banking. You must include a receipt for your payment (not a bank statement) when you hand in your application at your local registrar.
