Married within the Danish National Church (Folkekirken):
Marriage Certificate (can be issued in any parish. Please note, however, that this certificate can only be issued if the marriage is still valid, or you are a widow/widower. You cannot request this certificate if you are divorced).
Married at the town hall (civil marriage):
Marriage Certificate (is issued by the town hall where the marriage took place. Please note, however, that the Marriage Certificate can only be issued if the marriage is still valid, or you are a widow/widower. You cannot request this certificate if you are divorced).

Blessed
Blessed in the Danish National Church (Folkekirken): Certificate of Church Blessing of Civil Marriage (can be issued by any parish. Please note, however, that this certificate can only be issued if you are still married, or you are a widow/widower. You cannot request this certificate if you are divorced).

Death
Certificate of Personal Data, Baptism and Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate. Please note, however, that a Marriage Certificate can only be issued if the deceased was married or widowed at the time of death.
Death before 2002:
Certificate of Personal Data to be issued at the funeral authority (the parish where the deceased lived at the time of death),
Baptism and Birth Certificate issued at the parish where the deceased was born.
Marriage Certificate. Please note however, that a Marriage Certificate can only be issued if the deceased was married or widowed at the time of death, and it must be issued by the marriage authority.
If body or urn is to be sent abroad: Certificate of Personal Data
Stillborn child: No certificate. In the event of a religious funeral, a confirmation of the funeral can be issued.
Miscarriage: No certificate. In the event of a funeral, a confirmation of the funeral can be issued from the church office where the event took place.
